“Secret Jungle” series is types of new-photography works created by found objects, which expresses a colorfully dreamy forest sense as well as a fantasy of animal world. It is created by digital techniques. Zhang Guang-Yu completes the backgrounds to confirm the atmosphere. He collects the birds’ illustrations of 17th Century French artist Francois Nicolas Martinet. Then, he cuts the birds elements, retouching the selected found objects with his stylish colorful sense into the “jungle background”. Considering the “jungle aesthetics”, the pure colors are mainly composed in the series.
